Project Manager

(Structural Steel Erection)

JOB DESCRIPTION

A structural steel construction company in the area is looking for someone with your experience. They are a premier structural steel and equipment erector specialize in commercial and industrial construction projects. They have a strong and highly skilled group focused on teamwork and collaboration. The ideal candidate will Will work on project sites throughout the United States as required. Must be willing/able to travel and be stationed at project assignments. A structural steel erection onsite project manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of the assigned project while remaining aligned with the strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization.

Project Manager Requirements:

+5 years project management experience with emphasis on structural steel erection.
Computer experience and fluency with MS Office & MS Project.
AISC and AWS experience strongly preferred.

Project Manager Qualifications:

* Excellent communication skills.
* Problem-solving and leadership skills.
* Project planning, risk management, time management and other project management skills.
* B.S. in Construction Management, Construction Technology or Civil Engineering degree, or equivalent steel erection management & Ironworker leadership experience preferred.

Salary - 50 hour work week. Overtime pay over 50 hours + Per Diem
