SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER

JOB MISSION:

Are you ready to design impactful solutions that help organizations transform by unlocking insights from their people data? At ChartHop, we’re looking for a Software Product Designer with a special talent for converting information into beautiful, intuitive, and powerful designs that tell a story. As a Product Designer, you will:

  • Design with Purpose: Incorporate data visualizations throughout interfaces to bring clarity and insight to complex data, empowering users to make strategic, informed decisions.

  • Champion User Configurability: Develop solutions that let users customize their data, their data views, and interact intuitively with their information.

  • Collaborate and Inspire: Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Customer Success teams to identify user needs and transform them into clear, actionable, and visually compelling design solutions.

  • “It Just Works”: Conduct user research to ensure our tools are intuitive and enjoyable to use, emphasizing the simplicity and clarity that make data accessible and actionable.

  • Innovate in Information Design: Establish principles and patterns that ChartHop can build upon, setting a new standard in data visualization and information design, adapting information to each organization and user.

  • Invest in Patterns and Systems: Exhibit a true understanding and appreciation for the design system that supports UI components and user patterns across the platform and ensure it stays consistent while also moving it forward. 

  • Show What is Possible: Use the power of design to demonstrate the capabilities of ChartHop in a visual format and leverage those views to be shared in Product Marketing and Sales. 

Requirements: 

  • 3 - 4 years minimum of SaaS platform design experience: You have a strong background in designing solutions for SaaS products, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities they present.

  • 1 - 2 years minimum of mobile app design experience: You bring hands-on experience creating engaging, user-centered designs for mobile platforms.

  • Effective communicator: You can clearly articulate ideas and designs internally with team members as well as externally with customers, ensuring alignment and clarity.

  • User Research Expertise: You have experience conducting user research and analyzing user data to drive design decisions that directly reflect user needs.

  • JTBD Approach: You design with the "Jobs to Be Done" framework in mind, focusing on the entire experience and user workflows to create seamless interactions.

  • Proficient with Figma: You’re highly skilled with Figma and know how to leverage it to bring designs to life collaboratively.

  • Experience with Design Systems: You have a strong understanding of design systems and know how to create and apply cohesive, scalable components that ensure consistency across products.

  • Collaborative Mindset: You thrive in an iterative environment, embracing feedback and enhancing your designs to meet user needs.

  • Understand Business Metrics: You grasp the importance of business metrics and understand how design can drive customer growth and retention, balancing user experience with strategic business goals.

Salary range - $112,000 - $150,000 base plus bonus and equity
