Job Description

Position Summary 

As a  Salesforce/Tableau Architect within HSG you’ll be responsible for leading the design and implementation of integrated CRM and analytics solutions. This hybrid role combines deep expertise in Salesforce architecture with advanced Tableau capabilities to deliver data-driven insights and scalable business solutions. You will collaborate across departments to ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and Tableau, enabling strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities for this Role Include:

Salesforce Architecture:

  • Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Communities, and other Salesforce products.
  • Define technical architecture and integration strategies with external systems (e.g., ERP, marketing automation, data warehouses).
  • Lead technical design sessions and document technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Salesforce developers and administrators.
  • Ensure best practices in coding, security, performance, and scalability.
  • Oversee data modeling, data migration, and data quality initiatives.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends to recommend improvements.

Tableau & Data Analytics:

  • Architect and develop Tableau dashboards and visualizations that provide actionable insights from Salesforce and other data sources.
  • Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes to support Tableau reporting and internal analytics.
  • Collaborate with business and product stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective Tableau solutions.
  • Optimize Tableau performance and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
  • Promote data literacy and self-service analytics across the organization.
  • Integrate Tableau with Salesforce and AWS to enable embedded analytics and real-time reporting.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture.
  • 3+ years of experience in Tableau development and data visualization.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, or System Architect.
  • Tableau certifications such as Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Certified Data Analyst.
  • Strong knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Experience with CI/CD,DevOps practices, and agile development environments. 
  • Proficiency in SQL, ETL Processes, and data modeling for analytics.
  • Experience with MuleSoft, Heroku, or other Salesforce ecosystem tools.
  • Familiarity with Tableau Server/Cloud administration.
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
  • Experience in healthcare a plus.
  • Experience with Snowflake, AWS, or other cloud data platforms.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field preferred

Work Environment

This position is remote but based out of HSG’s Louisville, KY headquarters would be preferred. HSG offers a Hybrid Work model approach with limited requirements for in-office presence, which will be focused on initial onboarding and for company events.

Travel Required:

Travel for this role will be limited and mainly be specific to 2-3 business days per quarter of on-site work at HSG’s Louisville headquarters. Current expectations would be 10% or less.
