Job Description

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is a leading provider of workforce management solutions, committed to connecting skilled professionals with meaningful career opportunities We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join a 50+ Law Firm in Downtown Chicago! This is a full-time, permanent position with a hybrid schedule (two days onsite, three days remote).

Job Duties:

  • Develop and implement case management strategies, including discovery, expert witness identification and preparation, and trial preparation.
  • Maintain positive communication with clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, co-counsel, experts, and service providers.
  • Adhere strictly to confidentiality regarding client matters.
  • Keep accurate time records for client billing.
  • Continuously learn and apply relevant software and technology to enhance litigation management and client service.
  • Assist in drafting pleadings and motions, including gathering and organizing exhibits, e-filing court documents, and coordinating service of process.
  • Support all aspects of trial preparation and attend trials as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in Litigation Defense.
  • Excellent employment tenure.
  • Technical expertise in Relativity, Trial Director, and Westlaw/Lexis.
  • Proven experience in litigation support tasks, including trial preparation and attendance.
