Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mass Tort Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mass tort litigation, including experience with product liability, toxic torts, or similar complex cases. This role involves managing a diverse caseload, collaborating with experts, and advocating for clients in high-stakes legal matters.​

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of mass tort cases, including those related to defective products, pharmaceuticals, and environmental hazards.​
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case development.​
• Review and analyze medical records, scientific data, and other evidence.​
• Develop and implement legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.​
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.​
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.​
• Collaborate with expert witnesses, investigators, and other professionals to build compelling cases.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, providing regular updates on case progress.​
• Stay current on developments in mass tort law, including relevant statutes, regulations, and case law.​

Professional Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.​
• Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.​
• A minimum of 1–5+ years of experience in mass tort litigation, including product liability or toxic torts.​
• Experience with case management, including drafting legal documents and conducting depositions.​
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.​
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.​
• Proficiency in legal research and case management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.​
• Willingness to travel as necessary for case-related matters.​

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary Range: $95,000 – $130,000+, commensurate with experience.​
