We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team in the construction industry. This is a pivotal role that will oversee all aspects of electrical installations for our healthcare and hospital projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the management of electrical construction operations, with a particular emphasis on healthcare facilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact on our company's projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in our electrical work.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all electrical construction activities for healthcare and hospital projects.
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of electrical subcontractors to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Develop and implement project schedules and work plans in collaboration with the project team.
  • Ensure all electrical installations are completed in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety standards and quality control measures are being adhered to.
  • Manage and resolve any issues, conflicts or discrepancies that arise in the field.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction professionals.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and field workers.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all electrical construction activities.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide regular updates on project progress.
Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in managing electrical construction operations for healthcare or hospital projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code and local electrical regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Valid state electrician license.
  • OSHA safety certification is desirable.
