We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and motivated Café Manager to join our team at Banque, a high-end café in Hudson, NY. This is a unique opportunity to lead our café operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily café operations, ensuring top-notch service and smooth workflow.
• Manage, train, and motivate café staff to provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain inventory and manage vendor relationships to ensure stock levels meet operational needs.
• Implement and maintain food and beverage quality control standards.
• Handle scheduling, payroll, and other administrative duties.
• Ensure the café adheres to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with the team to create and implement marketing initiatives and promotions to boost sales.
• Continuously improve the guest experience by gathering feedback and making data-driven decisions.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Café Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with coffee, including preparation, brewing methods, and equipment.
• Minimum of 2 years of bar experience, including crafting and serving cocktails, wine, and other beverages.
• Experience managing a retail counter, including cash handling, product display, and customer interactions.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of café operations, including food and beverage prep, health codes, and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage inventory and budget effectively.
• Passion for food, coffee, and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests.
