Agile Lead/Project Manager – K2 Insurance Services

K2 Insurance Services, LLC seeks a motivated and experienced Agile Lead / Scrum Master / Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will drive agile methodologies, foster collaboration, and ensure the successful delivery of projects aligned with business goals. You will play a pivotal role in managing cross-functional teams, removing roadblocks, and ensuring efficient project execution while maintaining a stakeholder-focused mindset.

Salary Range: $150,000 To $210,000 USD per year

Key Responsibilities:

• Agile Facilitation & Coaching:

• Guide and coach teams on Agile practices, values, and principles to improve team delivery and performance.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within teams.

• Project Management:

• Plan and execute projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize backlogs based on business needs.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and adjust plans to ensure project success.

• Stakeholder Communication:

• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication.
• Prepare and deliver status updates, project reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
• Manage expectations and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

• Team Leadership:

• Support and empower cross-functional teams to achieve their objectives.
• Identify and remove impediments to ensure team success.
• Promote accountability and ownership within teams.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or related role in an Agile environment.
• Proven track record of managing projects in the insurance industry , including familiarity with underwriting, claims, or policy administration systems.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and project management methodologies.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.

Preferred:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), or equivalent certification.
• PMP certification or similar project management credential.
• Experience managing distributed or remote teams.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and risk management in the insurance sector.
